Recently, Rodion Velchev, director of the “Mission in Profession” initiative, took part in a unique youth event in Central Asia — SOZO 2026.
The event brought together young people from five Central Asian countries to worship God together, learn, be inspired, and be equipped for effective ministry within the church and in society.
As part of the conference, Rodion led a workshop based on the new ProCourse material on the topic «Career guidance: how to find your calling?», which was attended by over 70 young people. Participants discussed how to understand their identity and abilities, how to approach their career choice thoughtfully, and what the Bible says about their vocation and work.
It is particularly important to help the younger generation realize that a profession need not be merely a means of earning a living, but a sphere in which a person fulfills their calling, serves God, and looks to benefit the common good of society.
It is precisely the idea that we are developing through ProCourse and the «Mission in the Profession» initiative.
