You can help us in our mission

about us

Eurasia Mission was founded in 1991 by Pastor Peter Deyneka and his wife Anita to respond quickly to new ministry opportunities after the collapse of the Soviet Union. In the 1990s the organisation made a significant impact in the former USSR, training more than 5,000 missionaries and helping to plant 1,000 new evangelical churches.

A key aspect of the Mission's work has been collaboration with Western and national organisations, which has increased the impact and scope of the ministry. This partnership remains important today, helping the organisation to operate effectively.

Mission Eurasia is currently training a new generation of Christian leaders who are spreading the Gospel and providing relief even in the midst of wars, ethnic conflicts and religious persecution throughout Eurasia and Israel.

Our mission and vision

History of the ministry

Mission Eurasia (formerly known as Peter Deyneka Russian Ministries) was founded in 1991, immediately after the collapse of the Soviet Union, by Pastor Peter and Anita Deyneka to respond quickly and decisively to new opportunities for evangelism and church planting in this former communist state.

Today, under the leadership of Sergei Rakhuba, Mission Eurasia and its affiliated organisation Mission Eurasia Field Ministries ("Mission Eurasia") work in 14 countries in Eurasia and Israel to train, equip and mobilise a new generation of Christian leaders to transform the people in these countries for Christ through strategic, integrated ministry.

The mission of Mission Eurasia is to train, equip and mobilise Christian leaders across Eurasia who will engage in local evangelism, church planting, integrated ministry and church growth, developing creative and strategic ministries, and fostering partnerships between locals and Western Christians.

Our vision is to evangelise, train, equip and mobilise a new generation in Eurasia and Israel to lead the church in transforming their nations for Christ.
