BY EMPOWERING LEADERS, WE ARE MULTIPLYING THE IMPACT

In Ukraine, where the war continues to affect the lives of millions of people, the ministry continues. Thirty-five leaders from across the country have come together to learn, grow, and discover new opportunities for ministry.

As part of the «Mission Eurasia» program, a training session was held focusing on practical tools for effective ministry. Participants were introduced to the «School Without Walls» and ProCourse educational models — programs that help teenagers and young people better understand their abilities and career paths.

The second day of the training took the form of a practical workshop: participants tried their hand at being trainers, learned how to work with a group, ask the right questions, engage people in discussion, and turn the material into a dynamic learning experience.

We paid particular attention to ProKurs and the topic of vocational calling. Participants noted that it is not enough simply to tell young people about different professions these days. It is important to help them better understand themselves and their abilities, and to see where they can serve society and the church.

«Career guidance is not just about asking, “What do I want to do for a living?”, but also about asking, “Who am I, what talents have I been given, and how can I put these to good use in my life and ministry?”»

«Tools like these are particularly useful for those who work with teenagers and young people. They help us avoid giving ready-made answers, but rather support young people as they seek their calling from God.»

Leaders will be able to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their churches, youth groups, and communities, helping the next generation to discover their calling and put their talents to good use in their lives and ministry.
