Transformation through vocation, From the workshop to the office

The Mission in Profession movement emerged as a natural response to the request to unite young Christian professionals with the aim of accompanying them during the educational process in higher educational institutions, acquiring an influential profession and job, helping them to become missionaries in their workplace.

Serving the Lord at any work

Movement "Mission in Profession" is 9000 Christians from 9 post-Soviet states in the fields of business, law, medicine, media, science and technology.

In these, and in many other professions, we want to integrate Christian values, to show a qualitatively different attitude to labour.

"Mission in Profession is a unique movement that brings together next generation leaders to witness for Christ and make a difference in society."

We take seriously the words of the Apostle Paul that all things must be done for the Lord. We are motivated by Martin Luther's words that the whole world can be filled with the Lord's service, not only churches, but also homes, workshops, fields, offices and classrooms.

Mission in Profession International Initiative (2014-2024)

The project aims to develop professional communities, training leaders and professionals in key areas such as medicine, science, media, law and business, with the aim of changing society through learning and through Christian values.

Objective:

Formation and strengthening of professional communities that possess and share Christian values, proclaiming them in the workplace, capable of transforming society in relevant ways;

How to start a Mission in Profession movement in your country/city/community:

Pray that God would identify and introduce you to professionals
Talk to the ministers of your church about wanting to start this movement
