In Moldova, the "Yan & Sons" motorbike repair shop and the "Bread of Life" bakery were inaugurated as part of a multifunctional Christian center in the village of Baltati.
The opening ceremony of the workshop began with a brass band and the cutting of a motorbike chain - a symbolic gesture that had represented a celebrative start. Here, young boys and girls will be able to learn how to repair motorbikes and learn about God's love. Jan, the workshop administrator, shared the idea behind the project: «In the process of rebuilding the motors, we can also rebuild the hearts of the boys».
Another joyful event was the opening of the bakery, which also has classrooms for training. Here, the students will learn the art of baking, pursue a profession, and build their future with Christ.
The celebration ended with a prayer of blessing for the workshop and bakery. The guests had a chance to ride the restored motorbikes and taste the first bread baked by the girls from foster families.
