As part of the Mission in the Profession ministry, we organised and held a special meeting for teachers who work in general, private and public educational institutions, as well as serve in Sunday schools at their churches. The event brought together about 60 teachers from the Alma-Ata region who decided to spend a day with us reflecting on the importance of spreading Christian values through their profession.
We discussed how and when educators regenerate themselves for effective service to society and the church. We learnt how to form habits that become an important tool in spreading Christian values. Many participants commented that this was the first time they had encountered such information and were eager to apply what they had learnt during the retreat.
A statement from one of the educators:
"I would like to express a huge thank you to everyone who made this retreat possible! Thank you to the organisers for making everything so clear, comfortable and well thought out. Thank you to the ministers and helpers for your care, attention and readiness to help at any moment - it was very much felt. Special thanks to the speakers for the wisdom, inspiration and deep knowledge you generously shared. Thank you for the beautiful place - the nature and atmosphere here filled and gave a special feeling of cosiness. Gratitude for the delicious and lovingly prepared food and snacks! I leave filled, inspired and with great gratitude to everyone who put a part of themselves into this retreat."
We continue with you to train and inspire people to spread the Kingdom of God in challenging Muslim countries. Each participant received special literature from Mission Eurasia.
