The Gift of Hope project in Mongolia has become an integral part of a national movement called "Christmas in Every Yurt". This movement, which has spread to numerous regions of Mongolia, is full of local flavour and culture. As part of this project, students and graduates of the School Without Walls program across the country have been actively involved. They have prepared gifts, organized festive events for children and teenagers*, helping them to learn about Christmas and the true joy that comes with this great holiday.
This year, the project covered 10 cities in Mongolia, where many activities were organized for children and their families. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, 2,000 gifts were given. These gifts carried not only material joy, such as sweets and toys, but also the most important message, the Good News of the Birth of Jesus Christ. During the holidays, children and their parents were told about the meaning of Christmas, its spiritual essence, and invited to visit evangelical churches. In this way, through simple gifts and heartfelt encounters, many families discovered a new hope by learning about Christ's teachings and love.
One of the participants of the project, an 11-year-old boy named Ikerzaya, shared his impressions:
"I was invited by my friend Itgel. I am very happy about the present I received, it had all my favourite sweets and toys. But the most important thing I learned on this event is that Christmas is the birthday of Jesus Christ, and our chronology starts from His birthday. I learned that we need to pray to Jesus, love and respect other people. Thank you for this event!"

Ikerzaya's story is just one of many similar ones that happen thanks to the Gift of Hope project. For many children and their families, this project has become not just an opportunity to receive a gift, but a chance to experience a new life filled with faith, hope and love. Through such simple but sincere activities, children discover important spiritual truths, learn about Christ and His teaching, and their parents have the opportunity to get closer to the church and feel the support of the Christian community.
The Gift of Hope project brings light and joy into the homes of many families in Mongolia living in difficult circumstances. Thanks to this project, more and more people are learning about the essence of Christmas and getting a chance to find the faith and support that can change their lives.
