Students at the School Without Walls in a Central Asian country organized a football tournament, bringing together teams from high schools, colleges, music schools and sports schools. Most of the participants were young people who did not attend church. The aim of the tournament was not only to bring the young people together through sport, but also to demonstrate the values of respect, fair play and a healthy lifestyle. In a typical football environment, foul language is often heard, and conflicts arise, but here it was different \u2014 the teams treated one another with respect and strove not only for victory but also for fair play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the participants were young people struggling with inner turmoil, hurt feelings, and a sense of meaninglessness. But as they chatted and played games, the atmosphere gradually changed: smiles, openness, and a sense of light-heartedness began to appear, and it was obvious that some of the young people were being freed from their inner burdens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many local residents watched the tournament and were intrigued by the game's format and system. During the breaks, the children asked questions about Christianity, and the students answered them, sharing their views and experiences. And, the conversations were becoming more open and sincere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
