In September, the 21st annual Central Asian Prayer Conference was held in Almaty. Traditionally, representatives from various countries, denominations and churches in the region participate in this event. This year they were joined by guests from Europe, America, Asia, Australia and Mongolia - about 700 delegates in all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission Eurasia was invited to hold a prayer block for the unreached peoples of Central Asia, and we gratefully accepted the invitation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year our participation took place in an online format: we prepared a video with an address by Serghei Babarayka, who urged participants to pray for these nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with Agape Church, we have prepared prayer cards with information about 24 large and small unreached peoples in the region. More detailed materials about each people are available on our website via a QR code placed on the cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organisers expressed their gratitude for the participation and readiness for further cooperation - not only informational but also practical. They noted: \"The block on praying for unreached people was organically integrated into the overall process and received a good response. The cards were handed out at the entrance and also during the meeting, which helped people to actively engage in prayer. On this day we used a non-standard arrangement: the stage was in a circle, creating a typical Central Asian atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our participation in Central Asian Prayer was an opportunity to remind local churches of the responsibility to pray for and act on behalf of these nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
